BoybandPh Digital Concert
May 7 2017 is the first ever concert of Boybandph. They call it a digital concert. It was held in one of Abscbn studios and I can say that I'm one of the lucky few who were able to watch and enjoy even the after party. Few because according to what I read before entering the studio is that the maximum capacity is 450 people. Why digital? It is because it can be viewed online live just by registering at One Music ph site. The first time I heard it as well.
Abscbn has a waiting area inside, and in fairness maayos naman. It is air conditioned and plenty of seats to make us comfortable. We stayed there from 2-6 pm. The concert starts at 7pm. The Marshalls briefed us on what and what not to do for everyone's safety. And I was impressed as a first timer. When we entered the studio, malamig din naman. The family of Russell and Tristan were already sitting there. There were games before the concert and it started on time, exactly seven. There was a front act who is Volts, a one music ph artist. Then it is time for the boys to come out na. They sang medley of boyband hits, upbeat hits that is, from BsB, boyzone, westlife, nsync. A great opening. Then they have their solo prods. Ford was the first one, he sang a ballad. Tristan did a sexy number. Nagpaypay ako on this number, literal! And hot e! Joao showed off his moves and his dance number is equally hot. I can't imagine if I'm the girl na sinasayawan sa chair. Manghihina ako. Russell sang Verasace on the floor, and of course everyone just got mesmerized with his voice plus a sample of his talent with keyboards and lastly Niel just perform a Justin Bieber hit. The audience sang along with him.
They have guests too like Maymay of Pbb and Jona who they had a collab with and the music video was being shot at the moment at their concert!Buti na lang hindi naman ako kita sa official music video nila. Of course they sang their songs in their Album.
Some of the memorable numbers they did, was Shape of my heart ni Ed Sheeran. And their second to the finale song na mix ng masasayang music like Daft Punk, parang mga pang new year na tugtugan. They asked the audience to stand up and dance with them during this number. Their finale song is We Made It which I think is thei trademark na rin. It is so nice to see that there are several reaction videos in Youtube about these guys and some are foreigners pa. Their fans are really growing na even overseas.
After the concert, the Gold ticket holders got the chance to have an after party with them which I can describe na parang reception sa isang kasal or birthday In fairness, may pagiveaway sila with some BPH merchandise, buffet, drinks, cakes, and music. This was done sa isang part ng compound ng Abscbn. Basta pinalabas kami ng studio at may trail dun. I was not able to have a pic with all of the guys kasi halos di ka na makalakad sa dami ng nakaharang na nagpapapic. Considering na medyo kumonti ang tao pero marami pa kasi nag papa video greet. Well, I know that there wil be some other times. siguro Hihi.
Unfortunately, my sd card I think has a virus that is why nabura lahat ng pic ko that night. Sad part ito yes. But overall experience is great. Sulit naman ang 2500 na bayad. And if ever may ganitong event uli, I think I will most probably will still go.
